Where Busy is not the answer

If you need a browser-native, mobile-first ledger with automatic bank feeds and almost no inventory, a cloud product will feel lighter. If your entity files taxes outside India, choose a product built for that jurisdiction.

And if Tally is genuinely working, keep it. We say this to customers regularly.

What switching costs and how long it takes

Busy licences start at ₹11,000 per user for Basic and ₹16,500 for Standard, plus GST, with yearly plans from ₹5,000 and Busy on Cloud priced per user per year. Implementation, migration and training are quoted separately and in writing.

Single-location businesses are usually live in 24 to 48 hours; distributors take three to seven working days; manufacturers one to two weeks. A parallel run means billing never stops.

How to run a demo that tells you the truth

Send your own item master, a week of invoices and one real GST scenario before the demo, and insist the vendor uses them. Ask for the reports you fight with today. Then ask for the total three-year cost in writing.

Any vendor unwilling to do that on a free demo will not be more accommodating after payment.
